This beauty was first discovered in 1991 along the banks of the Goobarragandra River near Tumut in NSW and is now listed as endangered under the EPBC act. It is a shrub 1.5 to 2 metres high x 2 metres wide with oblong, toothed leaves which can be up to 170 mm long by 25 mm wide. There are a number of known threats to these particular plant. Things such as grazing, weed infestation (Blackberry and Willow), competition from native species and land clearing. We must ensure that we carefully monitor our behaviours to ensure the survival of this great beauty. Of course we cannot control potential fires and flooding's, but we must do our best with the things we can control!
