In 2013 the new multi-million dollar Lemur Island exhibit was opened at the Melbourne Zoo

which allows the public to get up close to the small Ring-Tailed Lemur.
The Ring-Tailed Lemur is an endangered species native to Madagascar. The exhibits landscaping reflects these cute animals native habitat, on the fringes of the rain forest.
The exhibit started with nine male Lemurs, forming a bachelor group (watch out ladies).
When you have a spare day, you can go visit the guys at the Melbourne Zoo.
